Tech Night was introduced in July 2009 as a monthly informal gathering for community members working in or interested in technology. The aim of tech night is to provide a platform for techies to:
Meet under one roof, network, swap ideas, stories or information
Meet people working on interesting and/or new technologies and their applications
No one is expected or will be asked to share any proprietary information
Have speakers address new emerging technology issues
Raise questions on technology issues and get answers from others
When and Where is Tech Night Held?
Tech Night is held on the third Tuesday of every month at 6.00 p.m. in the Cameron University CETES building in Room 207 on the 2nd floor.
Why CETES?
At CETES we are committed to nurturing and promoting the growth of technology and tech related businesses. There are people in Lawton and its surrounding areas working solo or telecommuting on technology related projects who would like opportunities to meet, network and share ideas with other like minded individuals.
