Google I/O is two days of inspirational talks, hands-on learning, and a chance to hear more about Google's latest developer products. I/O Extended-Lawton brings this experience to students and professionals in the Lawton/Ft. Sill area, extending it with code labs, demos, and sessions from local web designers and developers.
Join us Thursday, May 28th and Friday, May 29th at Cameron University’s CETES. The event is being organized by the Lawton Marketing Group Design and Development Team and CETES.
Tentative code labs include building a real-time webchat client and server using HTML5 WebSockets and Go, and using Google+ Sign-In for authenticating web applications. There will also be opportunities to sit in on live streaming events from the main Google I/O event in addition to the locally hosted code labs and discussions.
Lawton Marketing Group will also be presenting a local demo on developing modern web sites using static site generators and asset pipeline tools, as well as a discussion geared toward both designers and developers on the challenges of mobile responsive UX design in today's world of smart phones and tablets.
Other companies, individuals, and organizations are invited to apply for an opportunity to give their own presentations, however slots and registration time is limited.
Please visit our I/O Extended Lawton event website for more information, including registration details and agenda updates.

Cameron University enjoys an ongoing partnership with Lawton Marketing Group, a fast-growing digital marketing agency specializing in web developement, social media marketing and search engine optimization.
